Design Review Process:
The Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville provides assistance to those who wish to make exterior renovations and/or changes to property in the Downtown Redevelopment Area. This is a two-step Redevelopment approval process. Examples of exterior changes include, but are not limited to: new construction, demolition, building additions, façade renovations, changes in parking lots, landscaping, curb cuts, drainage and new signage or changes to signage.
The first step in the Design Review Approval process is to fill out the Design Review Application form and gather supporting documentation including: photographs of existing conditions, dimensions and details of the proposed changes, a site plan or illustration of proposed changes as well as samples of colors or material to be used.
